Working principle:

         This system design as ergonomic applicator delivers bipolar radio frequency energy via a matrix of 64 electrodes in the disposable applicator tip. The RF energy generates fractional deep dermal heating in the region of the electrode matrix to induce skin injury, thus eliciting a wound healing response. Less affected tissue surrounding the matrix points may be stimulated by heat which helps accelerate the healing process, leading to tighter, rejuvenated appearance of the skin.

        After treatment with the eMatrix system for Sublative Rejuvenation, most patients showed improvement in facial parameters such as skin brightness (83%) and skin smoothness/wrinkle reduction (90%)1.

Afer treatment:

        shortly after treatment there is moderate skin erythema and edema of the treated zone. the edema is likely to resolve within a few hours. the erythema may take longer than that but is usually resolved within 12-24 hours. during the healing phase,small pin-point crusts appear in place of each ablated spot where the electrode pins contacted the skin.the crusts will exfoliate naturally transient skin erythema and edema,as well as heat or tingling sensations which may last for up to a few hours after the treatment,but normally not longer. in the event of post-treatment discomfort it is recommended to cool the treated area immediately following treatment with air cooling such as syner cool,cold packs may also be uesed tiny scabs of less than 1mm diameter will usually from 24-72 hours post-treatment and may remain for several days. the scabs should not be touched or scratched even if they itch,and should be allowed to shed off naturally.

the patient should return 2-3 days after treatment to ensure that no adverse events have occurred.

the patient should return several weeks (4-6) after the last treatment for evaluation of the treatment area.

update the patient's medical history before each session while being mindful of sun tanning,new medications,etc. if the patient has not violated the contraindications,treatment may be performed.

prior to treatment,perform a test spot in order to choose the adequate treatment parameters. if no results are observed and adverse events are noticed ,treatment should be discontinued
